The Surrender Life in Christ

The Surrender life in Christ

Gary W Williams

Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"

There is a great misunderstanding in today’s teaching. I have been crucified in Christ, not I will be for its past tense not something to earn nor gain as time follows on.

Today’s teaching robs folks of the truth. For many years the pastors and teachers have polluted and kept believers in bondage with their teachings. The reality is Christ is our life now we no longer have a life to live.

We live by faith and faith alone in Christ our lord. For we were crucified with Christ and when our heavenly father raised Jesus from the grave, we were raised with him but its was not our life raised but his and his alone.

His life was raised to newness of life the first born-again person. As a believer we don’t have a life but now its Jesus life that we have we are one together in crucifixion and one in the resurrection.

OK, you are asking if we were not taught the truth then what is the truth. Its very simple to understand. The Born-again life is not a performance Christianity is not a performance but a total surrender realizing the life and walk we know of now is the life of Christ.

Each day Christ not only lives inside of us but live through us. Each day as we go about our work or play and all daily routines, he reaches out through us to a hurting and damaged world.

Once one understands this truth that has been hid away from thousands even millions from the present teachers and false pastors.

We are the body of Christ the church, the church is not structure buildings built by man but is a true living organism its people not buildings though we are taught in homes and other structure locations we need to understand the church is the body of Christ.

There is a big emphasis on the structure of the building, tall steeples and there is always a cross onto the building or constructed in front of the building.

We spend so much money attempting to make our locations as spiritual looking as we possibly can.

In the early church /people they met in homes maybe even meeting under a large shade tree or by a lake or a flowing brook. We seem to be stuck on the cross. The cross was a very important process to the father’s plans.

We wear the cross around our necks and display it in our yards and even have it set in place within our dwelling places. There is no recognition of the resurrection its always about the cross. Yes, as I mentioned the cross had a very important part in the equation the sin issue had to be dealt with once it was destroyed then it led the way to the next part of the plan meaning the resurrection.

When Christ was raised from the dead, he established his kingdom, and all our past present and future sins were totally washed away. We are now declared in right standing with our heavenly father making us Righteous in his eyes not because of our works or anything we have or will ever be able to do.

The new covenant has been established and the Old Testament is but just history but no to be taught as a doctrine. We are no longer under the rulings of the law of Moses including the ten commandments which was very much of the Hebrew and Jewish teachings.

Jesus fulfilled the requirements of the law so now we are no longer under its requirements or laws but now only under the greatest commandment of our father being Love.

The Resurrection was the beginning to anew life in Christ we now will have a good understanding that the life we have is not ours but the life of Christ he lives within us and earnestly seeks to live through us daily.

We are his body here on earth reaching out to those who need him.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ESV

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So, glorify God in your body.

Romans 12:1

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

Part of our daily surrender for him to live and walk through us daily.

We need to present to our father our bodies so Christ his son can live through us and speak and reach out to a fallen world.

If you noticed it read this is a form of worship so the worship services, we perceive as worship in those buildings built by man is not worship but merely entertainment to satisfy the flesh.

True worship is giving of ourselves to the father so Christ can live in and through us. The word reads those that worship him must do it in spirit and truth.
